"Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition in the built environment by introducing innovative installations and data-based methods"
Our journey from student team to startup
Heat pumps, solar panels, and thermal energy storage are decades-old ideas that could enable a transition to sustainable living. Nonetheless, the green premium on these technologies and added complexity has prevented their widespread adoption unless governments heavily subsidized them, such is the case with solar panels and net-metering.
In 2016, Antoine Post founded Team CASA, a TU/e student team. He envisioned a future in which technology and innovation would permeate into the built environment and be readily available, even for the social housing sector, often deprived of sustainability and innovation.
In 2021, Team CASA, social housing corporation Woonbedrijf and construction company Hurks built the CASA 1.0, a pilot installation for a 3-unit apartment building in which our systems' core technologies and working principles were tested and validated.
In 2022, Integer Technologies was established with two other Team CASA alumni to further develop the energy concepts in CASA 1.0 and bring the resulting product to the market!
