A new way of thinking about how we produce and consume energy
The way it works is simple. During the warm months of the year, we capture heat from the roof of the building and the apartment rooms providing active cooling.
A central heat pump uses this heat to make water at 80 ° C, which is then stored in an underground thermal storage. The heat pump mainly operates in summer when solar panels yield the maximum amount of energy. The energy stored in thermal storage is used for hot tap water generation throughout the year. During winter, the hot water stored is directly used to provide space heating.
